| 1. Measure 800mL millipore water into a 2L plastic beaker. | 800mL H2O |
| 2. Weigh 10g Yeast Extract and add it to the mixture | 10g Yeast Extract |
| 3. Weigh 20g Bacto Peptone and add it to the mixture | 20g Bacto Peptone |
| 4. Weigh 20g Glucose and add it to the mixture | 20g Glucose |
| 5. Stir until completely dissolved | |
| 6. Bring solution to 1L with millipore water in a graduated cylinder | Volume to 1L |
| 7. Transfer to 2L flask, removing stir bar, and cap for autoclave | |
| 8. Autoclave 40 minutes to sterilize |

| 11. Allow plates to cool and solidify |
