Welcome to the homepage of Alexander Kanitz.

A molecular biologist by training, I have developed a strong interest in bioinformatics and lab automation. I have conducted research in various areas of the life sciences, particularly in the study of post-transcriptional gene regulation and regulatory networks.

Currently, I am looking for a post-doc position that allows me to apply and further develop my bioinformatics skills, ideally for the description of gene regulatory networks or the development of lab automation software/services.
