Today we did the transformation of the promoter parts we isolated from spring 2011 DNA isloation kit plate 4 on 11/8/2011.There were 6 promoter parts along with one positive control which is PSB1A7 and one negative control that is water.Promoter part and positive plate transformation were done on LB amp plates and negative control transformation was done on both LB and LB amp plate. This was done to check wether the competent cells are working or not.Then the plates were kept at 37 C incubator for overnight growth.The plates will be taken out of the incubator next day to see if there is any growth or not. | |||
