The Exciting new resultsAll the plates had results as expected, therefore there is no problem with our competent cells or our protocol. We determined from the results of the controls that Corey did that our problem was with the extraction of the plasmids from the iGEM registry. We believe that either no plasmids were extracted or that not enough were extracted for transformation.
