Entry titleThis week we first discovered on Tuesday that we still needed pure ocean water to add our medium prep stuff to. we contacted Dr. Clayton in hopes of getting a hold of some. Thursday we began to prepare our medium and add bacterial cells to it. to let it grow over the weekend. we prepared 3 separate cultures in order to increase our chances for growth. so hopefully we will see some growth next tuesday. If not we may need to let it sit longer or think about doing a culture with some sort of rotation like Axel suggested.
