Project topic #1
Nitrogen regulation in Saccharomyces cerevisiae This is a paper about the regulation of Nitrogen in the yeast we are studying. Because we will be changing conditions like the dilution rate, it is important to understand how nitrogen is regulated in yeast.
Selection in ChemostatsThis paper explains the theory of chemostats. It also goes into detail about the equations necessary to work with chemostats. They are very similar to the ones we have done in class. I think this paper will help with the MATLAB portion of our project.
