I'm from Portland, Oregon and went to Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana for my undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering. During the one semester evacuation for hurricane Katrina, I went to Arizona State University, and then returned to Tulane. Here at MIT, I am comforted that there are no hurricanes, even if winter turns out to be a 5 month phenomenon. | |||
My research will be in the general area of cartilage tissue engineering. | |||
