Series 3 - Photosynthesis (Labs 8-10) Objectives:

In this series of three weeks of experiments you will learn:

  1. How the photosynthetic pigment chlorophylla is used in vivo in converting light energy to chemical energy
  2. How to use an artificial electron acceptor to measure an aspect of photosynthesis in vitro
  3. How to investigate a variable that might affect the rate of electron transport in photosynthesis
  4. How to write an original scientific research report
