Labs 3-6 - Anatomy and Physiology of Plants

In this series of four weeks of experiments you will learn:

  1. About the amazing structural and functional properties of plants through observation and experimentation
  2. How to think, work, and write as scientists
  3. To use basic scientific equipment and techniques
  4. To make careful, unbiased observations that lead to hypothesis driven investigation
  5. To design controlled experiments to answer questions that come from observations
  6. To collect, analyze, and show data in effective figures
  7. To make and articulate conclusions from experimental results

Experimental subjects of the plant series. From left to right, Rhoeo spathacea, Moses in the cradle; Eichhornia crassipes, water hyacinth; Helianthus annuus, sunflower; Scindapsus aureus, pothos.
