OUR TEAMLAB 3A WRITE-UPDescriptive StatisticsResultsIn calculating the averages we discovered that one data point was missing and therefore had to go back and re-do the averages. In the end the Average of the Gold Standard was 98.08977 BPM. On the other hand the Spree average was 98.62832 BPM. For the Standard Deviation we calculated 23.0305 for the Gold Standard and 7.65789 for the Spree measurements. Than after we used all the data to create our graph and see both columns side by side. In completing our graph we moved on to calculating the P-Value (.328730386) which showed no significant difference in both Heart rate recordings.
Analysis
Summary/DiscussionFor this Lab, we had one of our group members sit down on a bench with the spree band on his head and every two minutes, we would take his temperature and heart rate five times. We then went outside and he exercised by running, jogging and other high intensity exercises; we measured his temperature and heart rate every five minutes, 12 times. Lastly, we went back inside and repeated the first step of measuring while at rest as he cooled down.
