Results

Experiment 1

Experiment 2

Analysis

Experiment 1

A two tailed test was used for the rat trial experiment. This is because the difference was investigated for only two groups.

Experiment 2

An ANOVA test was used for the human trial experiment due to the presence of multiple experimental groups.

Summary/Discussion

The p-value for the rat experiment was 0.867403497, which is above .05. Therefore, the rat experiment was not statistically significant and it did not matter whether Lps was given to the rat. The p-value for humans was .0125 which is lower than .05. Therefore the human experiment was statistically significant, meaning the Lps did increase inflammotin levels.
