The first position will examine multisensory integration, especially auditory-visual integration during speech perception, using fMRI and TMS. The second position, in collaboration with Dr. Daniel Yoshor, will examine visual perception using fMRI and intracranial electrical recording and electrical stimulation in patients with implanted electrodes (“eCog”). Facilities include 6 research-dedicated 3 T scanners, a Blackrock Microsystems 128-channel recording system, TMS with Brainsight MRI-guided neuronavigation; MR-compatible TMS; NIRS; eye-tracking, and complete infrastructure for psychophysics and neuroimaging.
