Purpose
The purpose of BioAIMS is to address the needs and concerns of current minority graduate students in the biosciences. We are committed to promote a supportive community and to enrich the opportunities available for minority students pursuing an advanced degree in science.
Goals:
- To promote the recruitment and active retention of minority students for graduate studies in the biomedical sciences.
- To stimulate professional growth through career development sessions.
- To make an impact on the surrounding Stanford communities through various outreach and mentoring programs.
- To foster a student support network through social interactions.
