BioBarakken is a new bio hackerspace situated in Aarhus, Denmark.


BioBarakken (Danish: contraction of biology and shed) is an attempt at making an open lab space in the city of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aarhus Aarhus, Denmark].
We aim to be a vocational hub for enthusiasts in the biological sciences, offering shared facilities of laboratory equipment and experience related to citizen science projects and prototyping for startups.
Our aim is to democratize biology locally, and to make it possible for everybody to come and create experiments in molecular biology and the like.
To be a learning and development hub in life sciences and biotechnology.


At the time, we are trying to raise a community, so we can later find a physical location, and start the lab part of the whole project.
