This hands-on session will introduce researchers to the computational resources offered by the BioMicro Center/KI Bioinforamtics and Computing core facility. The topics will include the editing of submission scripts and the usage of our Sun Grid Engine (SGE) job management software.
Spotfire is a powerful data visualization and analysis tool that has applications in many fields of research. This session will provide an overview of the software and demonstrate some of the useful features including data manipulation and filtering tools and hierarchical clustering functions. Information will also be provided about how researchers can take advantage of a discounted annual price negotiated by the BMC/BCC.
