Acknowledgements

Our project can hardly work out without the support of professors and students from Tianjin University and Glasgow University. To all these people, we want to express the heartfelt gratitude here. First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge and extend my gratitude to our instructors—Professor Yuan Yingjin and Professor. Lu Wenyu, for their vital encouragement and patient guidance, and generous assistance on equipment and funding, all of which have been of inestimable worth to our project.

Secondly, our special thanks go to Glasgow University. The collaboration between Glasgow and our university has provided the initial inspiration for our project. Professor Chiara Martino, Professor Jonathan M. Cooper, and Miss Louise Horsfall have done extremely important work on microfluidics technology, the construction of gene expression kit, and so on. We wouldn’t obtain so much achievement without their support.

The last but not least, our thanks would also go to Professor Fan Xiaobin, Professor Liu Fufeng …… They have given us great guidance on nanometer materials and protein simulation, which enormously contributed to the data obtain and collection. We have benefited a great deal from their advice.
