Achievements

    <html><body><font size="5">We created Biomolecular Rocket. We realized high-speed movement that exceed the speed of kinesin. In addition, Biomolecular Rocket moved freely without rails, and we developed directional control system. </font></body></html>

    We constructed Biomolecular Rocket composed of a micrometer-sized body and many catalytic engines. micrometer-sized body was coating selectively, and catalytic engines were conjugated to the body in a region-specific manner with DNA linker. We realizeBubble rail-free movement and extremely high-speed that can exceed the speed of kinesin by taking advantage of bubble emissions. Further more, we achieved a photo-switchable DNA system, we can dissociate DNA duplex for directional control of Biomolecular Rocket.
