<tr> <td><p align="justify" style="line-height:2em"><font size="3pt">We are a team of students from the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, and we are taking part in the BIOMOD competition at the Wyss Institute in Havard this November. Our team is supported by the research group of Prof. Dr. Philip Tinnefeld.
<br><br>
The idea of our team - called “Nanoscooter“- is to build a nanoscale car, which is made of DNA and powered by the catalysis of hydrogenperoxide by platinum nanoparticles. Furthermore we plan to invent a steering for our scooter. Movement will be shown using fluorescence microscopy as well as atomic force microscopy. <br><br> This type of DNA origami can be used for directed transport of different components. In the future this technology could be used for the supply in nanoscale factories or as a lithographic pen by controlling the location of nanoscale catalysis. </font></p></td>
