== Personal ==
I was born in Cambridge, MA and grew up in a suburb of Boston: Bedford, MA and attended Bedford High School. I graduated with a B.S. in chemical engineering and a minor in philosophy from Tufts University in May of 2007. After a summer working in purification process development at Wyeth BioPharma (now [http://www.pfizer.com/home/ Pfizer]), I started the M.S. program in chemical engineering in our department in the fall of 2007. After a short stint in that program, I entered the Ph.D. program in chemical engineering. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching movies (from [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kubrick Kubrick] and [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Ford_Coppola Coppola] to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingmar_Bergman Bergman] and [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fellini Fellini]), watching Boston sports ([http://www.patriots.com/ Pats], [http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/index.jsp?c_id=bos Sox], [http://www.nba.com/celtics/ C's], but not really the [http://bruins.nhl.com/index.html B's]), listening to music (from [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lil_wayne Lil' Wayne] to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Led_Zeppelin Led Zeppelin] to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_cash Johnny Cash]), and playing sports (golf, tennis, basketball, and baseball).
