There is a reduced cancer risk for people using non-steroidal anti-inflammatories for management of inflammation
Phenotype of OGG1/Muty knockouts?
Muty -/- mice have a cancer phenotype, increased intestinal cancers. Not the case for OGG1, reduced cancer. Difference is due to Muty knockouts causing increased transversions
