YBX-1

Our primary research focus is the investigation of YBX-1 structure, function and interactions in vitro and ex vivo as a cancer oncogene.

Telomeres

Another part of our lab investigates the function of telomere length and telomere maintenance mechanisms in the growth and proliferation of brain cancers, specifically Glioblastoma multiforme.

p53-/- mice

We have two strains of p53 defective mutant mice which are currently being investigated for the role of the particular mutations in oncogenesis.
