Working with Ann:

MONDAY

*Take out egg bowls and put eggs in a tray lined with paper, adding water and a pellet. Remove paper from Friday's tray, add some water and a pellet, these can be split if there is space.

*Make a new large cage, with glucose, and collect adults from all trays.

*Collect pupae from all trays for whoever needs them. If nobody needs any pupae, then put them in the cage with the adults, or in a new cage.

*Pool or split remaining larvae, depending on density, and add pellets.

*Check the younger larvae, they may need to be split, and add pellets.

*Wash up all trays and put them away.


TUESDAY

*Take out glucose from cages that will be fed as early in the day as possible.

*Make sure whoever is getting mice, gets one for each cage to be fed. BLOODFEED!

*Change the glucose in the cages if necessary

*Collect pupae from all trays, again for whoever needs them. If not needed then put them in a cage.

*Pool or split the remaining larvae, depending on the density, and add pellets.

*Check the younger larvae, they may need to be split, and add pellets.

*Remove paper from the new larvae trays, and split them in to 4-6 trays and add pellets.


WEDNESDAY

*Collect pupae from all trays, again for whoever needs them. If not needed then put them in a cage.

*Pool or split the remaining larvae, depending on the density, and add pellets.

*Check the younger larvae, they may need to be split again, and add pellets.

*If there is space, split the new larvae further.


THURSDAY

*Take out glucose from cages that will be fed as early in the day as possible.

*Make sure whoever is getting mice, gets one for each cage to be fed. BLOODFEED!

*Put egg bowls in the cages that were fed on Tuesday.

*Collect pupae from all trays, again for whoever needs them. If not needed then put them in a cage.

*Pool or split remaining larvae, depending on density, and add pellets.

*Check the younger larvae, they may need to be split, and add pellets.

*Check the younger larvae, they may need to be split again if there is enough space, and add pellets, enough for the weekend.
