Gathered data for top funders of Sarah's journals FUNDING_METADATA.xlsx‎ and combined with new spreadsheet for funding sources metadata need to clean up fields a bit before tackling majority of the sources

  • Nic Weber 15:17, 23 June 2010 (EDT):Went back into SysBio print journals to see the changes in data sharing policies for publications... in 2001 they began printing a statement about protein data being submitted to Genbank and TreeBase--- changed to mandatory in 2004...In 2007 first mention of widely sharing data, and first requirement that data is included with a manuscript for peer review. Had to request other journals print editions from our campus library deep storage-- should know more about those tomorrow AM.
