Hi! I’m Meera, a senior undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. I study biomedical engineering, focusing on biomaterials. My previous work has involved polymers as tissue adhesives, but I’m interested in working in Dr. Du’s lab to apply biomaterials in different ways. Outside (or sometimes inside!) of lab, I like to draw, play music, try new things. I’m excited to spend the summer in Tsinghua not only for a new academic experience, but also to explore the culture and city of Beijing!
