Our research focuses on several areas:

Developmental biology of the kidney and urinary tract, and renal-coloboma syndrome.
Modeling of genetic disease and analysis of the underlying defect.
Cell survival during development.
Cell survival mechanisms in cancer and therapeutic targets for cancer treatment.
