This entry will describe today's efforts.
Both NCC cultures are doing fine, no contaminations, as of Monday.

R1113 is starting off very slowly. However, checked for mycoplasma using the kit provided by Audrey and there is none in either culture.

One of the older rabbit EC cultures that is already discarded, inhibited the PCR reaction (no control bands) but the one that is underway now in the 4 wells of a Labtek 8 well slide, was fine. The two rabbits (one, or two?) that yielded cells last week on the two other Labtek slides have not yet been tested as Stephane did not give me their supernatants.

Took an image of the gel, which is on the scanner computer for now.

Cell status
