Summary
GYT Medium. Used in preparing electrocompetent cells.
Ingredients
- 10% (v/v) glycerol
- 0.125% (w/v) yeast extract
- .25% (w/v) tryptone
Sterilize the medium by passing it through a prerinsed 0.22-μmfilter. Store in 2.5-ml aliquots at 4°C.
