We explore principles of post-transcriptional gene regulation and its implications in disease. We use genome-wide analysis tools like DNA microarrays to explore basic principles, and we apply 'classical' biochemical, genetic and cell-biological methods to further investigate functional aspects of the RNA-protein network.
