Welcome to the Grose lab! We are on the campus of Brigham Young University in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Biology. Our lab is interested in how cells regulate central metabolic processes. Our research currently centers around two areas. First, we are interested in the molecular mechanisms of yeast PAS kinase regulation and function. PAS kinase is a sensory protein kinase involved in glucose homeostatsis in both yeast and mammalian cells. Second, we are interested in identifying novel genes/pathways involved in NAD(P) biosynthesis and regulation using microbial systems.
