The the BL21 (DE3) cells that have been used to transform the receivers actually contain the LacI operon in its genome, causing GFP to be repressed. For now, I am transforming receivers with DH5αT cells to see if any GFP can be detected. Transformed for:

  • AubR
  • BraR
  • BjaR
  • EsaR
  • LuxR
  • RhlR
  • RpaR
