Plasmid Transformation of fshPCD

  • Plasmid name: fshPCD in V0120 vector

    • Ampicillin resistance on V0120
    • Length of vector: 4968 bp
  • Sample 1: Plasmid DNA - fshPCD (BBa_J176002)
  • Sample 2: negative control - water (Vol 1, p. 166)
  • Sample 1 had moderate growth from ~6:30 pm to ~10:30 am--transformation was successful.
  • Sample 2 had no growth save for a couple of colonies. Overall the transformation was successful.
