Summary

The U2OS and KAH126/U2OS cultures are on day 5 of their transfections/inductions, respectively, so it's time to harvest for RNA. The U2OS culture is probably done after this, as the remaining wells had very poor transfection efficiencies.

  • RNA extraction of U2OS & KAH126/U2OS samples

RNA mini-prep w/ TRIzol & RNeasy

Results/Conclusions

Six samples were collected and placed in the -80°C freezer:

U2OS

  • Well 1
  • Well 2
  • Well 5 (negative control)


KAH126/U2OS

  • Well 2 (negative control)
  • Well 5
  • Well 6

Also, unrelated to the above samples, but the RNA collected from the previous KAH126/U2OS induction was from wells 1, 2 and 5, rather than 1, 2 and 4. The sample labeled "Well 4" is still a negative control.
