Gene Check

  • There a couple of good "housekeeping genes" to take note of to see if we are on the right track
  • Silenced: CDKN2A and MYT1 are predicted to have good histone methylation peaks

  • Active: GAPDH and ACTB are predicted to have low histone methylation peaks

  • As it can be seen these genes show that silenced genes show significant peaks in histone methylation while active genes show little or no histone methylation peaks
