I received a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from School of Basic Medicine, TJMC, Huazhong University of Science and Techonology (HUST), with a dissertation focusing on alternative splicing of VLDL receptor in the progression of cancer.

My background includes a Bachelor’s degree in medical statistics.

I’m interested in the study region about the effects of ER stress in metabolic syndrome, evolution of new genes and comparative genomics..

I graduated with a master degree in microbiology & biochemical pharmacy from Wuhan Polytechnic University.

My researches in the past include analyzing the effects of dietary supplements (omega-3 fatty acids, probiotics, vitamin D & E) on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Shiliang Hu, Ph.D.

I received my PhD degree in Biomolecular Science from Trento University in Italy, and is a master in Animal Science at Northwest A&F University.

My researches in the past include molecular evolution and species classification, gene function validation and fatty acid metabolism.

Now, the goal of my research is to use bioinformatics approaches in combination with massively parallel sequencing data to make inferences about Epigenetics in Medical science.
