1). Postdoc positions are available in the following research areas:

  • Synthesis of polymeric nanoparticles for drug and gene delivery
  • Multiscale modeling, particularly that of non-equilibrium phase change phenomena (e.g., vitrification or glass formation) in or related to living cells
  • In vitro and in vivo handling (culture, differentiation, and preservation) of embryonic, mesenchymal, and induced pluripotent stem cells for soft tissue engineering and regenerative medicine

To apply, please send an email to Prof. He (he.429@osu.edu) indicating the research area(s) that you are interested in together with a brief description of your experience in the area(s), up to 3 representative publications/manuscripts in the area(s), and a full CV with a complete list of all your journal publications. A solid background (as indicated by strong publication record) in the research area(s) of interest are desired.

2). Multiple positions of Graduate Research Assistant are available in the following research areas:

  • Synthesis of polymeric nanoparticles for drug and gene delivery
  • Multiscale modeling, particularly that of non-equilibrium phase change phenomena (e.g., vitrification or glass formation) in or related to living cells
  • In vitro and in vivo handling (culture, differentiation, and preservation) of embryonic, mesenchymal, and induced pluripotent stem cells for soft tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
  • Oocyte/embryo isolation, in vitro fertilization (IVF), in vitro embryo development, and in vivo embryo/oocyte transfer together with cryopreservation for assisted reproductive medicine

To apply, please send an email to Prof. He (he.429@osu.edu) indicating the research area(s) that you are interested in together with a brief description of your experience in the area(s) and a full CV. Prior experience and publications in the research area(s) of interest are preferred (but not required).

3). Undergraduate Research Assistant positions are available: If you really have extra time beyond that for course work and are really motivated to do research in one of the areas listed above for graduate research assistants, please email Prof. He (he.429@osu.edu) indicating the research area(s) of interest together with a full CV.
