Other antibodies are available from the [http://www.ohsu.edu/genetics/fa/index.cfm| OHSU Fanconi Antibody Project]. The majority of these antibodies were made against peptides and were then affinity purified. Stacie and Alexis have tested most of them against the epitope-tagged, overexpressed target proteins. Stacie and Alexis have tested most of them against the epitope-tagged, overexpressed target proteins. For results of our antibody tests, click here. In summary, we like antibodies for:
- FANCC, #2 (#1 has some ugly non-specific bands)
- FANCD2, both
- FANCF
- FANCG, #2
FANCG #1 and FANCE antibodies did not work for us. Testing of FANCJ and USP antibodies will commence soon.
