Dr. Tin Wee has proposed several projects executed by APBioNet. SC will
collaborate and support APBioNet

regional societies/groups and exchange proposals.
* Survey project undertaken by the Marketing committee
Project members: Sanne, Parthi, Jussi, Sevin, Segun and few more new
leaders. New leaders will execute the project mostly.
* Public Policy in Bioinformatics
A new 2 member-group led by Vic(?) will work on this together with ISCB
Public affairs committee.
* Discussion for a dedicated SC event next year in ISMB-ECCB, Vienna.

* Q3-2006 SC Newsletter - End of September. Deadline to submit topics (and
to complete some projects!): 2nd or 3rd week of September
