Transforming TOP10 with mms6 and mamC plasmids

  • Biobricked, E.coli optimised genes mms6 and mamC on plasmids received from Chris French, Edinburgh.
  • Transform TOP10 compotent E.coli with plasmids following the standard TOP10 transformation protocol
  • Agar plates with ampicillin 100μg/mL prepared to spread transformant cells onto them - 2 neat and 2 1/10 plates
  • Plates incubated overnight
