Entry title

Met with Alex today. We went over papers - said Babcock et al was a very good paper, should check the papers it references and the papers that cite it for next week.

Also talked about two incentive schemes:

1) Give subject money (in gift cards) up front for all participants, have subject distribute gift cards & surveys to other people

2) Give 3rd person the money and "backwards distribute"

Issues of trust, Alex said we don't want to come off as manipulative. Also issues of feasibility - how are we going to give only 3rd person the money? Will it be hidden from the 1st and 2nd person?

Also talked about different forms of incentives - ex. just money, money in "gift" form (origami).

Less focus on social incentives, group incentives & peer effects
