Assumptions
Formation of AHL-LuxR Complex
- Ptet is expressed constitutively.
- LuxR is present in excess of AHL
- Thus LuxR reaches steady-state before AHL is added. Therefore [LuxR] can be taken as constant, λ.
- AHL forms a complex with LuxR, namely AHL-LuxR, which can be termed A.
