The basic idea is to create a food from bacteria, algae, or some other quick growing microbe that could provide all necesarry vitamins and minerals, and mbe used as a food supplement. This idea would be very useful in space travel, as it wuld provide viable food, rather simply. While this idea does somewhat exist by the use of certain algae, like chlorella and spirulina, our idea would be to perfect it. Maybe we could even get it to taste good?!

Oh what about a low-calorie/sugar version? We could get the organism to produce steviols/stevioside (natural sugar substituites, that come from stevia plants)for those with problems with high sugar contents.
