2010年現在、まだ参加3年目であり様々な活動の基盤ができていない京都チームではありますが、参加学生各人の強い好奇心や意欲と様々な立場の方々のご理解とご協力により、学部生ならではの創造的な科学研究活動が展開されています。
2010年度のプロジェクトは"The Fantastic Lysisbox"という細胞溶菌機構です。
今年度の大会は11/5～11/8にかけて行われ、金賞を受賞しました。

来年度に向けて、新メンバーの募集やこれから取り組むプロジェクトの選定など課題はたくさんあります。<br>
また、iGEMは来年以降地域予選を行うことを公式に発表しています。

iGEM Kyotoは2008年度に結成しました。メンバーは様々な専攻の学部学生を主体とし、加えて修士院生とアドバイザーから構成されています。 テーマ（Raise the Titanic!）の独創性は群を抜いていましたが、残念ながら入賞を逃しました。
