About

iGEM is the international genetically engineered machines competition. The purpose of the competition is to specify an engineered biological system using DNA. You can read more about the competition here. Systems will be constructed from standard biological parts.

The MIT iGEM team for 2006 will be made up of 4-5 students working fulltime during summer 2006 on engineering a biological system.
