Things to Do Today

1. Reply to Alex's email, making sure that you understood him right about what internal and external standards to order/interpretation of the data- DONE (I had it right. Get to ordering the chemicals)

2. Ask Li Li about internal and external standards to make sure that PCNB should not be added before GC extraction- DONE (awaiting reply)

3. Order hexyl acetate and octyl acetate as internal and external standards for isoamyl acetate samples- DONE

4. Contact Westco chemicals about alpha-ketoisocaproate (try to do by email this time)- DONE (awaiting reply)

5. Prep for 1:10 meeting on precursor biosynthesis

6. Construct growth curves for J45200 and J45250- WORKING ON IT

7. Restreak AB3257 (aroF- aroG- aroH- strain)

8. Reply to Linda from Yale to make sure that she was referring to the IlvE- strain coming in the mail- DONE (IlvE- is the one!)

Updates

1. AB3257 (aroF- aroG- aroH-) did not grow up.

2. Linda from Yale said that our strain is coming in today's mail (I am pretty sure she means the IlvE- strain)- SHE DID!
