LB Agar (LBA) Protocol (500ml)

  • Melt LBA in microwave (~8 min).
  • Cool LBA before you can touch it without burn your skin (~4 min in water bath).
  • Add required chemicals (antibiotic, etc).
  • Add 24 ml of LBA into each plate.
  • Wait while plates will be thicken.
  • Dry them 45' under the flow hood, with the lid open.
