Grow of Chlamydomonas reinhartii wild type

  • Today I grew Chlamydomonas reinhardtii in liquid medium.
Elenmeyer Flask -> Tap medium (50 ml)with Amp (50 μl) + Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (Miriam's tube).
Tube Control -> Tap medium (5 ml)with Amp (5 μl)
Tube 1 -> Tap medium (5 ml)with Amp (5 μl) + Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (petri dish 14/jun/2011).
Tube 2 -> Tap medium (5 ml)with Amp (5 μl) + Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (petri dish 16/jun/2011).

Pablo found an article which authors put 100 μg/ml of Amp with the purpose of avoiding pollution by bacterias. So, we did other Elenmeyer flask with the proportions of 500 μl of Ampicillin in 100 ml of TAP medium.

Elenmeyer Flask 2 -> Tap medium (50 ml)with Amp (250 μl) + Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (Miriam's tube).
