PCR samples were retrieved and run on a gel, This was followed by the transformation of samples into bacterial cells, which was performed following the kit's protocol. Samples were plated on agar plates and incubated overnight at 37°C
For Lucy's experiments, a colony from each of the four transformation plates was inoculated into LB (2 samples with Kanamycin and Chlorophenicol, 2 samples with Kanamycin only) and left to grow overnight at 37°C in a shaking incubator. .jpg)
