No lab work took place today, but team members met with the team advisor Richard as he was away the previous week. We told him of our progress in not only lab but also outreach. There had been some replies to emails sent out to UK iGEM teams requesting soil samples, which was good to hear. From numerous e-mails sent around the UEA ENV department, we received some unexpected sediment samples from the Centre for Environment, Fisheries & Aquaculture Science (CEFAS).
