• Observed Z-competent cells grown on Friday
  • Found little RFP
• Made new broth from Z-competent cells
  • Added 5 mL broth
  • Added scraping of cells from sterilized innoculating loop
  • Vortexed for 6-10 seconds
  • Incubated in shaker @ ~36.5 +/- 0.5 degrees C
• Incubated Z-competent cells from Friday in shaker @ ~36.5 +/- 0.5 degrees C again
• Began working on presentation to Medical School
