Overnight pregnancy test results (~17 hours after the bacteria was added):
Positive:
Sonication, combination of all cultures, no DDT
T7 lysis, combination of all cultures, no DDT
Negative:
Son., culture #2 only, no DTT
T7, #2, no DTT
Son., comb, no denaturing solution added
T7, comb, no den

T7, #2, no den
The negative tests showed one clear control band and a light background color which extended 3/4 of the way across the window. The background color was slightly darker in the area where the positive band would normally appear.
The Western blot showed bands at the appropriate molecular weight for hCG in all 4 lanes of promotor + RBS + synCG
